Graduated high school! Got my certificate in graphic design! Won some competitions! Things are going well. I will be attending Grove City College in western PA in the fall, and I'll be studying music. Yeah, music. But hopefully I will have time to continue to learn and practice design and art. I'm really looking forward to college. Meeting new people, learning a lot, etc. Should be good.

Right now I'm working on digital painting, a category of art to which I am new. I recently got Paint Tool SAI, which has been much easier to work with than Photoshop, so I'm making progress. I uploaded my first complete digital painting, Essence, so be sure to check that out!

I joined DeviantArt several months ago once I heard about it. However, I have only just begun to submit artwork, and am excited to be a part of what seems to be a very intelligent, helpful, and encouraging community. Critiques are most appreciated! Though the creative side of my mind has been at a bit of a lull lately, I hope by pushing forward, working hard, and contributing to this community I will come up with some neat ideas. Anyway!
